Memorial Day Parade and Celebration

Thomasville is home to the North Carolina Vietnam Veteran's Memorial and each year hosts one of the southeast's largest Memorial Day Celebrations which includes a parade, military bands, paratroopers, Blackhawk helicopters and a keynote address from a high ranking military official. (Always on Memorial Day Monday - May 26th, 2008)

Everybody’s Day Festival

The Thomasville festival hosts over 200 arts & craft vendors and includes a children’s area with games, rides and special appearances and three stages of entertainment featuring blues, country, rock ‘n’ roll, and gospel artists. (Always held on the last Saturday in September - Sept. 27th, 2008)
